The reality for many of us of how easy it is to get swept up in a reactionary mode of defending and attacking, especially when we feel we are being accused of doing something wrong. The alternative of defending was discussed – just loving – realizing that nothing real can be threatened, and nothing could be lost. This perspective is one of empowerment, being able to hold all events lightly, and letting go of any need to defend or attack. The importance of seeing all problems as happening “in here” is discussed. All problems can be seen as an error in perspective happening inside of me, and if I can change my perspective, my suffering can end. Being loving always feels good, being in fear always feels bad.
